Capital XTRA’S Music Potential inspires NEET young people aged 18-25 to improve their skills, develop talent and enhance employability through music. Working with the best music industry professionals the programme offers unique opportunities through creative workshops, work experience, one to one mentoring, performance opportunities and supports young people to gain a nationally recognised qualifications. Championed by Global Radio’s Capital XTRA brand, young people are empowered to unleash their potential through engagement with Capital XTRA presenters and Artist/Music Industry Ambassadors. Capital XTRA’S Music Potential operates as part of The Big Music Project and is funded by The Big Lottery Fund.

There are four stages to Capital XTRA’s Music Potential that will help young people aged 18-25, who are not in education, training or employment to unleash their potential and move closer to a career in the music industry.
