Capital XTRA’S Music Potential was a national music focused training programme, that worked with NEET young people aged 18-25 to improve their skills, develop talent and enhance employability through the hook of music. Working with the best musicindustry professionals the programme offered unique opportunities through creative workshops, work experience, one to one mentoring, performance opportunities and supported young people to gain a nationally recognised qualification. Championed by Global Radio’s Capital XTRA brand, young people were empowered to unleash their potential through engagement with Capital XTRA presenters and Artist/Music Industry Ambassadors. Capital XTRA’S Music Potential operated as part of The Big Music Project and is funded by The Big Lottery Fund. Beat Bazaar was the Manchester delivery partner.
