The overall aim of the project

The overall aim of IBB is to train youth workers and youth leaders on being able to raise awareness and develop positive attitudes towards cultural diversity, to develop a better understanding and skills in using non formal methods within youth work activities at local, regional and international level. To focus on mainly on respecting cultural diversity and cross community cooperation all over Europe, Caucasus, EECA and Western Balkan and an even wider area. Cultural diversity exists within lifestyles, traditions, histories, gender, education, sexual orientation of young people, refugees, migrants, etc. To build and multiply a network amongst EU, Caucasus, EECA and Western Balkan countries between youth leaders and youth workers, who establish and implement youth projects emphasising cultural diversity in local and regional level and to cooperate together on an international level. We will host 32 participants who work with young people who come from underprivileged backgrounds, difficult living conditions and poverty; such as Roma refugees, rural youth, disabled young people, and other groups.

The project will involve youth workers, youth leaders, project managers, etc. who are directly working with culturally diverse groups of young people.
