Last chance to join the Capital Xtra Music Potential Xperience in Manchester

If you are aged between 18 and 25, not currently working or studying and have a passion for the music and the creative industries then get involved with Capital XTRA’s Music Potential now. 

How can you get involved ?

You can still join the Music Potential Xperience.

The MPX is a part-time 2 week music business training programme, which will help you learn about the music industry, develop your profile and gain new skills. The MPX will prepare you for the live shows and performances coming up in the summer, such as the Unleashed Showcase in London, as well as others in Manchester.
The MPX will also provide your with some studio time to develop your music and creative work. The MPX will improve your employability.

When is the MPX? 

The last MPX programme in Manchester is starting on Monday 26th of June .   Please check your diary to ensure that you can attend all the dates below.   

WEEK 1: TRAINING WEEK AT UTC MEDIA CITY 
Monday 26th June  - Friday 30th June 1PM -6PM EVERY DAY 

WEEK 2: PRODUCTION WEEK IN STUDIOS 
MONDAY 3rd July - FRIDAY 7th July  Times To Be Confirmed 

Where is it taking place?    

The MPX will be delivered at UTC Media City,  a unique new digital media college based in the heart of the northern digital world – MediaCityUK.

GETTING TO UTC 

Tram

The nearest tram stop is the Broadway tram stop, next to The Pie Factory, which is is opposite UTC@MediaCityUK, just minutes from the main entrance to our campus.  There is a map at the bottom of the email. 
 

Bus

MediaCityUK is served by a number of dedicated bus routes offering journeys to Manchester City Centre, Salford Crescent and other destinations in South Manchester.

The X50 runs from Manchester city centre to the Trafford Centre, via Salford Quays where we’re based. Services are every 15 minutes, Monday to Sunday daytime.

The City Connect 50 links MediaCityUK to Salford and Manchester city centre. Services are every 10 minutes, Monday to Saturday daytime.

The 245 runs from Altrincham and goes via the Trafford Centre on its way here.
