Manchester Hip Hop Archive: Get involved

MCR HIP HOP ARCHIVE

Beat Bazaar is very proud to be working with the Manchester Hip Hop Archive as an education partner, alongside Unity Radio and One Education, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Arts Council England.

Over the last few months we have been busy devising and planning an exciting Education Programme, which will be delivered in schools around Manchester. Our specialist creative facilitators cannot wait to start delivering workshops in Breakdance, DJIng, Turntablism, Graffiti, Rap, Music Production and more, representing 40 years of Hip Hop heritage.

"The Manchester Hip Hop Archive is the first Archive and resource hub for the Hip Hop movement in the United Kingdom. Dedicated to telling the untold story of Hip Hop in Manchester, the Archive is committed to collecting and sharing verbal, visual, audio and physical documents, to help curate a rich collection of artifacts that authentically highlight the events, groups and individuals that contributed to the social and cultural phenomenon known as Hip Hop. "
