AS WATER REFLECTS THE FACE

Written by: The Osonó Theatre

“Mom. I’m afraid. It’s dark in here. Can you hear me? Are you paying attention to what I say?” (Osonó)

“You have to know, that somewhere inside you, as in everybody else, there is something that will never die. The world is yours too!” (Márai Sándor)

A desire mellowed in us, to measure the fever of the society that surrounds us and talk about it using the tools of the theatre. This way we got to the point of opening a space of dialogue with ourselves, with the audience and with God, starting from our own anxieties and reaching to reveal the problems of lonely children, helpless parents and vulnerable young people.

A revelation that has gone through a filter of long debates in the Osonó team, finalized in a common scenario. When we placed this scenario in a theatrical space, we felt the tension coming from the common creation and our own limits, and in the vibrations of our souls each of us found our own faces – like a vision appearing on the surface of the water.
